To My Beloved Thief

During the Joseon era, Hong Eun-jo treats the sick as a skilled physician during the day, and at night, she changes her identity to become the mysterious thief Hong Gil-dong. However, she is no ordinary thief—she takes wealth from corrupt government officials and uses it to help the poor. Through her own birth and difficult life experiences, Eun-jo has learned to understand the suffering of ordinary people very well.

On the other hand, Prince Yi Yeol, although a member of the royal family, is not interested in living a comfortable life in the palace like others. He has a special interest in solving crimes and mysteries, so he prefers to investigate various incidents while hiding his identity. One day, he crosses paths with the mysterious thief Gil-dong, and while trying to catch him, Yi Yeol unknowingly becomes attracted to Eun-jo.

Their fates become even more strangely intertwined when a mysterious incident causes Eun-jo and Yi Yeol’s souls to enter each other’s bodies. Now both are forced to deal with each other’s lives, identities, and responsibilities. At the same time, the fear of Eun-jo’s secret thief identity being revealed and Yi Yeol’s royal responsibilities further complicate their relationship.

The presence of characters like Im Jae-yi and Shin Hae-rim further complicates their relationship. Between their own identities, social status, royal court politics, and responsibilities to the people, Eun-jo and Yi Yeol have to decide which life they really want to choose. To My Beloved Thief is a story made by mixing historical romance, comedy, and fantasy, where a strange soul-swap of people from two different worlds ultimately takes their love and destiny in a new direction.
