Till the End of the Moon

Li Susu travels 500 years into the past to stop a deadly future. She takes over the body of Ye Xiwu, the daughter of General Ye. Her target is Tantai Jin, a hostage prince who will become the Devil God. Li Susu believes killing him before that happens can save the world. She soon discovers that Ye Xiwu is married to Tantai Jin. Their marriage is cold, and Tantai Jin has suffered for years. He grows up without knowing love or trust. Li Susu plans to destroy him, but living beside him changes things. She sees his pain and begins protecting him instead. Tantai Jin also starts falling for her, despite his dark fate.
Their feelings grow while danger closes in from every side. Li Susu learns that Tantai Jin’s fate is tied to the Devil God. She tries several ways to change that fate, but each attempt comes with a cost. Tantai Jin also risks himself to protect her. Their relationship becomes stronger, even as misunderstandings tear them apart. In the end, Li Susu sacrifices herself to change his fate. Tantai Jin is left devastated and spends 500 years searching for her soul. An immortal sect saves him when he is close to death. He joins the sect and slowly changes the man he once was.
Tantai Jin eventually meets Li Susu again after her rebirth. Their reunion brings old feelings back, but peace does not last. His unusual origins once again draw danger toward the three realms. Tantai Jin learns that only Li Susu can stop the coming destruction. Instead of accepting his own fate, he secretly prepares a final plan. He becomes the Devil God and links himself to the All-in-Distress Way. Li Susu finally understands what he is trying to do. She becomes a true god and faces him in the final battle. Tantai Jin asks her to kill him and end the disaster. She does, destroying the Devil God and stopping the All-in-Distress Way. Before everything collapses, Tantai Jin saves her with his last strength.
