Love is Sweet

Jiang Jun starts a new job at MH, hoping for a fresh start. She has degrees in economics and psychology and wants independence. Her first surprise is seeing Yuan Shuai as an executive there. They knew each other as children, but she remembers him differently. Back then, he often teased her and made her cry. She never knew that he was trying to make her stronger. Jiang Jun has a tear allergy, which made emotional situations difficult for her. Yuan Shuai secretly cared about her for years. At MH, however, he does everything possible to keep her away. Jiang Jun is shocked, but she has feelings for him too. They start dating while dealing with pressure from work and their families. Their happiness does not last forever. Lin Taimo later frames Yuan Shuai in a bribery case. Yuan Shuai loses his position, and Du Lei takes his place at MH. Instead of giving up, Yuan Shuai quietly investigates the case. He also looks into the death of Jiang Jun’s father. The investigation uncovers a much darker story involving Lin Taimo and Linda.
The truth eventually comes out, and Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai survive another difficult period. Their careers take new turns, but they keep choosing each other. Du Lei admits his feelings for Jiang Jun, but she turns him down. He later faces his own problems and begins letting go of the past. Jiang Jun becomes a vice-president, while Yuan Shuai moves into a senior role at GE. After several failed attempts, Yuan Shuai finally proposes to Jiang Jun. She says yes, and they rush to register their marriage. Their story ends with a happy surprise when Jiang Jun learns she is pregnant.
