Notes
Dear X tells the compelling and heart breaking story of Baek A Jin, a woman who grows up surrounded by domestic violence. Forced to hide her emotions from a young age, she learns to survive by reading people, manipulating situations, and reshaping her world to protect herself.
On the outside, A Jin shines as a kind, graceful, and talented actress. But beneath that perfect image lies a darker, wounded version of herself—one willing to bend morals when her dreams feel threatened. As her career rises, so does the risk of everything collapsing.
Her lifelong supporter Yun Jun Seo becomes both her greatest strength and her potential downfall. Once her safe place, he slowly turns into the person who may expose her deepest secrets.
A Jin’s past is further complicated by Kim Jae O, a man with a history of abuse similar to hers. He sees A Jin as the reason he survived—and becomes emotionally tied to her in unexpected ways.
Meanwhile, Im Re Na, a former idol turned actress, develops feelings for Jun Seo. Her involvement adds tension, rivalry, and emotional conflict to their already tangled lives.
Dear X is a story where trauma shapes identity, love turns dangerous, and ambition reveals who people truly are.
