The Solo Leveling cast just got much bigger. Netflix has officially confirmed Han So Hee, Kang You Seok, Sung Joon, Lee Sung Min, and Jung Ji Hoon (Rain) for its upcoming live-action series. The five actors will join Byeon Woo Seok, who is also part of the highly anticipated project.
The casting news has attracted attention because the upcoming Solo Leveling Netflix series brings together several well-known Korean actors. Han So Hee is known for dramas such as The World of the Married, My Name, and Nevertheless. Her addition to the cast has already made the series one of the most talked-about upcoming Korean projects.
Kang You Seok will also join the series. The actor has appeared in projects including The Whirlwind, Black Knight, and Payback. Sung Joon, meanwhile, is known for dramas such as Madame Antoine, The Fixer, and Island.
Veteran actor Lee Sung Min is another major addition to the Solo Leveling cast. He has built a long career across films and dramas, with notable works including Misaeng: Incomplete Life, The Fiery Priest, and Reborn Rich. His experience adds another established name to the Netflix project.
The cast also includes Jung Ji Hoon, better known as Rain. The singer and actor has starred in several Korean dramas, including Full House, Come Back Mister, and Ghost Doctor. His casting adds another familiar face to the upcoming series.
Byeon Woo Seok Joins the Solo Leveling Cast
Byeon Woo Seok is also confirmed to star in the live-action Solo Leveling adaptation. The actor has become one of Korea’s most popular stars following his leading roles in Lovely Runner and 20th Century Girl.
With Byeon Woo Seok, Han So Hee, Rain, Lee Sung Min, Sung Joon, and Kang You Seok now attached, the Solo Leveling cast features a mix of young stars and experienced actors.
The series is based on the popular South Korean web novel and webtoon Solo Leveling. The original story follows Sung Jinwoo, a low-ranked hunter who gains a mysterious ability that allows him to level up and become increasingly powerful.
The live-action adaptation has already created strong interest among fans of the original series. Netflix has yet to reveal all the details about the characters and storyline, so more information about the cast and production is expected later.
For now, the addition of Han So Hee, Kang You Seok, Sung Joon, Lee Sung Min, and Rain makes the upcoming Solo Leveling series even more exciting. With Byeon Woo Seok also leading the cast, the Netflix adaptation is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Korean series to watch.
