Ashes of Love

Jin Mi grows up without knowing what love feels like. Before her birth, her mother gives her the Yun Elixir. The pill blocks romantic feelings and keeps her safe from heartache. Jin Mi lives in the Flower Realm and knows little about the outside world. Her quiet life changes when Xu Feng, a powerful Phoenix, crashes into her home. She saves him without knowing who he is. Xu Feng soon returns to Heaven, but he cannot forget her. Their bond grows stronger each time they meet.
Run Yu, Xu Feng’s older brother, also becomes close to Jin Mi. Unlike Xu Feng, he hides his feelings and works behind the scenes. He wants Jin Mi and slowly turns against his own brother. Jin Mi is caught between the two princes without understanding love. She later learns that the Heavenly Emperor played a part in her father’s death. Manipulation and false evidence turn her against Xu Feng. At her wedding to Run Yu, Xu Feng arrives to stop the marriage. Jin Mi believes he is responsible for her father’s death. She then stabs Xu Feng, and he dies in front of her. The Yun Elixir leaves her body at that moment. She finally understands that Xu Feng was the man she loved.
Xu Feng is reborn after his death and becomes the Demon Lord. He carries deep anger toward Jin Mi and Run Yu. War soon breaks out between the Heavenly and Demon realms. Jin Mi realizes the conflict will destroy everyone around them. She steps between Xu Feng and Run Yu during their final battle. Their powers kill her, but her sacrifice ends the war. Xu Feng then spends years searching for her missing spirit. Three years later, he briefly sees Jin Mi again, but she disappears. He refuses to give up and keeps searching. Five hundred years later, Jin Mi is reborn with her memories. Xu Feng finds her and takes her back. They finally live together and have a son, Tangyue.
