Between Steps

Park Min-Jae once dreamed of becoming a great swimmer, but illness changed everything. He lost his right leg and had to leave his swimming career behind. After a difficult period, he found a new interest in robotics. Four years later, he is a PhD student studying mechanical engineering. Min-Jae looks calm and distant, but he secretly wants to experience love. His new life takes an unexpected turn when a woman enters his world.
Im Yoo-Jin is almost done with her degree in clothing and textiles. Then, one incident changes her plans and hurts her standing at school. Her chance to enter graduate school suddenly slips away. With no clear path ahead, Yoo-Jin starts looking at other options. That is when she meets Min-Jae and discovers robotics. The subject catches her attention, and she decides to study mechanical engineering instead. Before long, she joins the research lab where Min-Jae works.
